Marie Eve Didier is the Founder of a Startup creation, MATIS, within CSEM.


MATIS (Monitoring Art with Technology Innovation and Science), part of the CSEM (The Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology) post-doc for industry program, provides an intuitive and affordable solution that supports art experts who authenticate paintings.

MATIS develops a multispectral camera that is connected to an image processing software: the machine-learning technology examines the scattering, diffusion, and penetration of different lights in pain layers, which allow art experts to access valuable information to authenticate paintings.
